After you donate, claim your tax deduction by following these 3 simple steps:

1. Keep the receipt that we will leave you on the day of your pickup

2. Keep a list of the items you donated

3. Estimate the value of your donations

Tax Exempt Status

Ronald McDonald House is a registered tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code. Federal tax regulations state that any donation of property, or cash contributions, to Ronald McDonald House is tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations. Generally, contributions are deductible as Charitable Contributions on Schedule A to Form 1040 if you itemize deductions.
